A road bicycle with drop handlebars. That was the entire starting request. CADlingo offered four directions; we chose Classic race, generated the model, and asked for one change: a straight handlebar with grips.

This recording documents the October 13, 2026 session. The interface and design choices may have changed since then; your request can lead to different suggestions.

Let the first choice define the direction

The starting prompt gave a familiar object and one defining feature. It did not specify wheel size, frame dimensions or a manufacturing process. Those details were left to the generated concept rather than supplied as measured requirements.

The four suggestions were Classic race, Aero time trial, Endurance and Gravel crossover. We selected Classic race and confirmed Build Classic race. This step makes a broad request more specific before generation.

Actual English UI recording from October 13, 2026. Playback speeds are labelled and static pauses are cut. The edit request shown is the submitted request. The first generation took 265.6 seconds and the edit 188.0 seconds; the short video is not a claim about generation speed.

Look around the first result

We zoomed in and rotated the bicycle. The result showed a frame, spoked wheels, fork, saddle, drop handlebars and drivetrain geometry. The first version carried a Further improvements available notice. A recognisable object is a useful starting point, but its appearance does not establish that the assembly is ready to ride or manufacture.

For this session, the next decision was the handlebar. Keeping the request focused made the intended difference easy to inspect in the next version.

Describe the change and what you want to retain

The follow-up asked for a flat bar and grips, while requesting that the frame, wheels, fork, saddle and drivetrain remain unchanged. Version 2 visibly has a straight handlebar and grips. We did not perform a complete part-by-part comparison, so the request to retain the other components should not be read as a verified guarantee.

Change the drop handlebars to a straight flat handlebar with grips. Keep the frame, wheels, fork, saddle and drivetrain unchanged.

Take the concept into your next review

Both downloaded STEP files reopened as valid BRep geometry. The first contained 32 solids; the second contained 34. Overall bounds changed from approximately 1,700 × 454 × 965 mm to 1,700 × 624 × 965 mm. These are whole-model bounds, not a measurement of every individual component.

This exercise checks the creation and revision workflow. It does not verify strength, steering clearance, component compatibility, ergonomics or roadworthiness. For your own concept, rotate the result, inspect the relevant parts and interfaces, and make the next request concrete. Check current pricing for STEP access.
